Windsurfing at Hadicurari

Stay right across from one of Aruba's best-known windsurfing spots.

The location

Beach House Aruba sits directly across the road from Hadicurari, the beach many windsurfers still know as Fisherman's Huts. For decades this has been one of the island's classic windsurfing spots. From your apartment you are 20 steps from the water.

The tradewind

Aruba has the longest high-wind season in the Caribbean. The average wind speed over the year is about 20 knots, rising to 20 to 30 knots in May, June and July. The water rarely drops below 24 °C (75 °F), and in front of Hadicurari it is flat, open and in many places only waist deep.

Windsurfing for every level

Beginners learn in safe, shallow water, while advanced riders plane and jump in the open water further out or head to spots like Boca Grandi. Lessons and rental are right across the street, and as our guest you get a discount. Experienced windsurfers can also bring their own gear.

Beach House Aruba

Our building is set diagonally to the coastline, so the tradewind flows along every apartment and terrace. You can check the conditions from your terrace with your morning coffee and be on the water minutes later.
